The original modern ear candle developed in Germany and Italy was made with 65% beeswax and 35% food grade paraffin. We have found this optimized formulation is still the most efficient and effective.
Designed to produce a true wicking action which provides relaxing warmth. The combination of high-pressure infused wax and medium weight unbleached muslin produces a clean burn with low residue.
Wrapped counter clockwise to follow the natural rotational direction of a vortex (think tornado). This wrap is one that is crafted by a left handed person. Most other brands spiral clockwise which works against the vortex. Also, our fabric is tensioned wrapped to insure air tight seams.
